We found finding days, we were all free to film difficult due to several commitments of or actor/actress. We film a couple days before the Christmas period and another towards the end of January. On the first day of filming we film in the daytime and film the first half of the trailer as high-key lighting for the sunshine to add verisimilitude. This is so that it is romantic and relaxed, which is unconventional for the thriller genre. This is similar to the start of the trailer of Red Eye and The Boy Next Door. On the second filming day, we at in the evening. Low-key lighting is a common convention of the thriller genre. This connotes mystery. This contrast of lighting is needed to display our plot twist clearly.
